Luxury Marble Baths by LUSSO

A marble freestanding bath serves as a striking centerpiece that instantly elevates a luxury interior. Rather than relying on engineered composites, each Lusso marble bathtub is meticulously carved from a single, solid block of premium stone sourced directly from renown global quarries. This ensures your fixture is completely unique, possessing distinct, natural veining patterns and a structural presence that cannot be replicated by mass-market competitors. To enhance its sculptural form, pair your bath with neutral tones, soft ambient lighting, and our flawless floorstanding or wall-mounted taps.

Frequently asked questions

What are the benefits of choosing a luxury freestanding marble bathtub for my bathroom?

A solid marble bathtub offers unmatched elegance, creating a striking focal point in any bathroom. Its natural stone surface provides superior heat retention, keeping water warm for longer, while the sculptural form enhances both comfort and style. Marble baths are highly durable, timeless, and perfectly suited to both contemporary and classic interiors, adding a spa-like atmosphere to your home.

How do I clean and maintain a marble bath to keep it looking pristine?

Maintain your marble bathtub by cleaning it with a soft cloth and mild, pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach, or harsh chemicals that could damage the stone’s surface. Rinse thoroughly after use and dry to prevent water marks. For long-term care, consider applying a natural stone sealant as recommended, which helps preserve the marble’s natural veining and lustre. For detailed, step-by-step guidance, explore our complete stone and marble care guide.

Are LUSSO marble baths suitable for underfloor heating and modern bathroom installations?

Yes, LUSSO’s collection of marble baths is compatible with underfloor heating and modern plumbing systems. Installation should be carried out by a qualified professional to ensure correct positioning, secure connections, and optimal performance while maintaining the bath’s structural integrity.

What is the difference between natural marble and composite marble bathtubs?

Natural marble bathtubs are carved from solid blocks of earth-quarried stone, meaning every single fixture features entirely unique, organic veining that cannot be replicated. Our signature stone baths  (crafted from our proprietary Cortese® mineral blend) utilise crushed limestone mixed with premium resins. This creates a completely non-porous, lighter-weight alternative with identical heat-retention properties. While stone resin offers flawless, uniform consistency, natural marble provides an ultra-premium, bespoke, and artisanal aesthetic.

Can I customise the size, shape, or finish of a LUSSO marble freestanding bath?

Our marble freestanding bath collection offers a range of sizes, shapes, and marble types, allowing you to select a bath that suits your space and design vision. While fully bespoke sizes may not always be available, you can personalise your marble bathtub with choice of stone, finish, and coordinating bath taps and accessories to create a cohesive, luxury bathroom scheme.

How much do solid marble baths weigh, and do I need to reinforce my floor?

Due to being carved from solid blocks of natural stone, our luxury marble baths are substantial, typically weighing between 300kg and 600kg when empty. We highly recommend consulting a structural engineer or a qualified builder prior to installation to assess your floor joists and determine if additional structural reinforcement is required to safely support the combined weight of the bath, water, and bather.

Do LUSSO marble baths come with a warranty?

Yes. We take immense pride in sourcing museum-quality stone and employing master stonemasons. Every solid marble bath in our collection is backed by our signature lifetime guarantee, ensuring your architectural investment is protected for generations to come.
