Frequently asked questions

What are the benefits of choosing a 1900mm extra large bath for my luxury bathroom?

A 1900mm extra large bath provides a level of comfort and immersion that smaller designs simply can’t achieve. The extended length allows for full-body soaking, enhanced relaxation and a more spa-like experience. Its generous proportions also create a striking focal point within a luxury bathroom, adding visual balance to larger spaces and elevating the overall design scheme.

Will a 1900mm freestanding bathtub fit in a standard UK bathroom, and what space do I need for installation?

While many standard UK bathrooms are compact, a 1900mm freestanding bathtub can be installed in any room with suitable proportions and adequate clearance. As a guideline, allow at least 100-150mm of space around the bath for installation, cleaning access and comfortable use. Larger bathrooms, master suites and extended ensuites are best suited to this size, ensuring the bath can sit as an elegant centrepiece without overwhelming the room.

Are 1900mm baths suitable for families or couples looking for a spacious soaking experience?

Our large baths are ideal for families and couples seeking a generously sized bathing experience. The extended length and increased internal depth provide ample space for shared bathing or simply stretching out in complete comfort - making them especially popular in homes designed with wellness and relaxation in mind.

What materials are Lusso 1900mm bathtubs made from, and how do they affect durability and heat retention?

Lusso 1900mm bathtubs are crafted from premium materials such as Cortese® Stone Composite and Lusso Light acrylic, both engineered for long-lasting performance. Our signature Cortese® Stone Composite offers exceptional heat retention, maintaining warm water for extended periods while providing a refined, stone-like feel. Lusso Light acrylic is lightweight yet durable, with a beautifully smooth surface that resists wear over time. Each material is designed to offer strength, stability and an indulgent bathing experience.

How do I clean and maintain a Lusso 1900mm bath to keep it looking pristine?

Maintaining the beauty of your Lusso 1900mm bath is simple. After each use, rinse the interior with warm water and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. For weekly cleaning, use a mild, non-abrasive bathroom cleaner to preserve the smooth finish. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach or abrasive tools, as these may damage the surface. With gentle, regular care, your bath will remain pristine and elegant for many years to come.
