5 Tile Trends 2025
As we move further into 2025, the world of interior design is set to embrace a new era of colours, materials and patterns, particularly within bathrooms and kitchens. Tile trends are evolving with a blend of creativity and innovation, where bold patterns, organic textures and timeless colours are becoming prominent across homes
Floor tiles are taking centre stage with intricate patterns and natural stone finishes, as well as wall tiles that are showcasing subtle yet striking hues such as terracotta, deep emeralds and cool greys. In the kitchen, these tiles work well as splashbacks to elevate countertops, while bathroom tiles can be styled as feature walls or cover the whole space. These emerging trends are set to enhance both the visual appeal of bathroom and kitchens, and the overall experience of immersing in your surroundings, marrying aesthetics with lasting quality.
Pantone Mocha Mousse Tiles
Brown is becoming an increasingly popular colour across bathrooms and kitchens, partly influenced by Pantone’s Colour of the Year - Mocha Mousse. The warm hue, infused with richness, is a versatile tone that works equally as well as a dominant palette or a background colour accented by metallics or bolder shades. Whether used as a statement wall or a subtle feature, mocha tiles can transform your space with understated elegance. Our Palma wall tiles, in classic mocha, are an ideal way to embrace this tile trend, featuring a natural hue that evokes a sense of tranquillity and calmness, making them the ideal bathroom tile.
Mocha pairs well with a wide variety of colours, complemented with other neutral tones such as subtle greens, pinks, whites and beiges, or darker tones that provide a striking contrast. In bathrooms, softer pairings create a serene, relaxing vibe, while in kitchens, mocha tiles pair beautifully with light wooden cabinetry, allowing the tones to seamlessly blend while adding textural contrast. The shade’s warmth evokes a sense of cosiness while remaining neutral enough to allow for other design elements, resulting in a sophisticated yet inviting aesthetic.

Textured Tiles
Textured tiles are making a powerful statement in 2025, offering depth, character and tactile beauty to interiors. Natural stones such as travertine continue to captivate with their organic patterns and earthy tones, adding a timeless, luxurious feel to any space, while 3D elements such as fluting are increasingly sought-after to add further visual interest.
Crafted from a choice of travertine, Carrara marble, or Jade Green marble, our best-selling Romano fluted tile is the perfect design to add texture to your home, offering a unique surface and distinctive characteristics. Featuring naturally occurring grooves and pits, the stone’s surface is often honed to a smooth finish, allowing its subtle, earthy patterns to shine through while retaining the tactile richness of its raw form. The porous, slightly uneven texture of travertine lends itself perfectly to creating depth to any space, whether used across floors or walls.
In the bathroom, textured tiles can create a spa-like ambience, with travertine styled as feature walls, transforming your space into a refined retreat. The beauty of textured tiles goes beyond their appearance, as they create an inviting touch, adding layers of character to an interior.

“I'm seeing tile trends move towards more natural materials, clients are exploring using marbles and travertines in the bathroom again.”

Playful Patterns
This year’s tile trends are focused on bold creativity and playful patterns, transforming kitchens and bathrooms into vibrant spaces that reflect individual personality and style.
As well as metro and Palma designs, the timeless herringbone pattern remains a firm favourite, with its classic chevron arrangement adding a sense of movement and visual appeal to accent walls. Mosaic wall tiles also continue to shine, offering versatility for feature walls, shower enclosures, or splashbacks, turning everyday spaces into unique design statements. In particular, stick mosaic tiles - also known as kit kat tiles due to their iconic shape - are becoming much more prominent in luxury spaces. Whether arranged horizontally, staggered, or stacked, these slender tiles add interest, texture and depth to surfaces.
The possibilities are endless when it comes to styling tile patterns, and in 2025, there’s no limit to how homeowners can showcase their personal tastes. Geometric and hexagon patterns bring a touch of traditional charm, while crosshatch and pinwheel patterns offer a bold appeal, perfect for those who want a space that feels both dynamic and creative. Homeowners, interior designers, and property developers are no longer confined to traditional or regimented layouts - they can combine and mix various shapes and patterns, such as pairing large square tiles with smaller subway or baton tiles for a layered, multidimensional effect.

Material Drenching
Enveloping spaces with distinctive materials such as marble and terrazzo, material drenching follows on from the notable colour drenching trend. The decorative technique focuses on creating an uninterrupted flow of material throughout a space, across both the walls and the floors, amplifying visual impact and creating a sense of cohesion. By using marble or terrazzo tiles in both vertical and horizontal applications, you can transform your space into an immersive environment where the material becomes the focal point. Tiles can be applied on floors that cascade into the walls or as continuous splashbacks that wrap around a room. This approach not only enhances the tactile richness of an interior, but also makes it feel more fluid, where every surface feels intentional and thoughtfully designed.
Material drenching with marble such as Carrara and Nero Marquina can create a dramatic, seamless look, and make even the smallest spaces feel larger. These natural stones also highlight that wall tiles and floor tiles don’t need to be vividly coloured or overly patterned to deliver an impact - subtle, minimal and understated designs work just as well, depending on what type of ambience and style you want to create. Similar to marble, terrazzo brings lasting elegance and visual interest to your home, and can be arranged in a large, continuous pattern to stay on trend while maintaining timeless appeal.
Bold Colour
Bold colours are at the forefront of tile design, with both vibrant hues and calming tones playing pivotal roles in creating distinctive, statement-making interiors. Emerald green, in particular, has risen in prominence, celebrated for its profound connection to nature. This rich green tone projects a sense of balance and well-being, making it an ideal choice for bathrooms, where relaxation and tranquility are key. The versatile shade also integrates with a wide range of design styles, pairing perfectly with traditional or contemporary settings.
Earthy shades such as taupe and terracotta are also enjoying a resurgence, contributing an organic, grounded feel that complements natural materials such as wood, stone, and marble. While these tones remain neutral, their depth and warmth can enhance a space with a welcoming atmosphere, making a striking statement in both kitchens and bathrooms. Additionally, these versatile colours harmonise beautifully with softer neutrals - such as cream, white, or soft grey - and can be further enhanced by contrasting with deeper shades of blue or green for a dynamic, vibrant across your home.
