Wall Mounted Bath Taps

Wall mounted bath taps can be used with the majority of bath types, including both freestanding and fitted designs, as long as your plumbing allows for wall installation. Before purchasing, ensure your water pipes can be concealed within the wall and that the wall structure can support the fittings. A qualified plumber can confirm compatibility with your specific plumbing system.

This applies equally to our standard bath taps and our comprehensive wall mounted bath and shower mixer taps.

Wall mounted bath taps offer a sleek, modern look and free up space around the bath for a clean, uncluttered aesthetic. They’re ideal for minimalist or contemporary bathrooms, providing easier cleaning and a spa-like feel.

Unlike deck-mounted taps, they also allow more flexibility in placement, especially for freestanding designs. Choosing a wall mounted shower mixer tap also keeps your shower enclosure feeling open and maximises usable space.

Installing wall mounted bath taps can be more complex than fitting deck-mounted designs, as the pipework needs to be concealed within the wall. For this reason, professional installation by a qualified plumber is highly recommended to ensure a secure fit and proper alignment.

To maintain and clean wall mounted bath taps, wipe them regularly with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water, then dry to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough cloths, which can damage the finish of your tap. Regular cleaning will keep your taps looking pristine and prolong their lifespan.

Wall mounted bath taps can work with low water pressure systems, but performance can be dependent on the specific model. Many modern taps are designed for medium to high pressure systems, so it’s important to check the minimum pressure requirements before purchase. If your home has low pressure, choose a tap specifically rated for it or consider installing a pump to improve flow.
