Ed Westwick & Amy Jackson: A Lusso Collaboration

Your home is situated in the beautiful British countryside, what made you fall in love with the property?

Amy: I remember we walked inside and it was cute, but needed a lot of work. We did the tour, and when we were shown the garden and grounds, our jaws dropped. It was enchanting, like something out of a fairytale - we made an offer there and then.

What inspired you to choose an Italian, rustic-modern theme for your home?

Ed: We have been blessed and have experienced so much through our travels for work and pleasure. Italy has always been the place that stands out the most for its magic and taste. We wanted to do what we could to bring a little piece of that into our home.

What was the most important aspect to consider when designing your home?

Ed: Time was a huge factor for us - we didn’t have anywhere to go! We stayed with Amy’s mum for a bit and even rented a caravan, which was hilarious.

How did you approach designing your bathroom, and what influenced your decisions?

Amy: We went with our vision! We wanted the ensuite to be a sanctuary. The type of place you look forward to coming back to at the end of a long day, sliding into the bath and just letting go. We wanted to have elegance but also something earthy and grounding, hence the combos we went with.

Why did you choose Lusso to furnish your bathrooms?

Amy: We came across Lusso when using Pinterest and Instagram. We loved the collection. It just drew us in - it’s perfect!

Which Lusso product is your favourite?

Ed: Two things, well three. The Amalfi Freestanding Stone Bath, the stone sink, and the sleek Nera Matte Black Toilet.

What were the key priorities for your bathroom designs?

Ed: A bit of zen, that sanctuary feeling and zero clutter.

What have been the most challenging parts of your renovation?

Amy: Just feeling unsettled. We are used to living out of a suitcase, but suitcase and building site was intense.

If you could offer one piece of advice to someone embarking on a renovation journey, what would it be?

Both: Add three months onto your timeline!
