HOW TO CLEAN AND REMOVE STAINS FROM AN ACRYLIC BATH
Cleaning a Lusso Light acrylic bath is simple - gentle routine care will prevent mildew, dullness, and staining.
After each use, wipe the bath with a damp sponge or microfibre cloth paired with a non-abrasive liquid or cream cleaner. For matte-finish baths, we supply specialist sanding pads designed to treat stubborn marks without damaging the surface.
Because acrylic can react to harsh or abrasive products, avoid strong chemicals or scourers that may scratch or discolour the material. Instead, use mild solutions specifically formulated for acrylic surfaces.
A variety of marks can appear on acrylic - such as rust, mineral deposits, and general dirt. For more persistent stains, apply an acrylic-safe stain remover, leave it to work for around an hour, gently rub with a soft sponge, then wipe and rinse thoroughly with clean water. This process usually restores the bath to its original pristine condition. Some deep stains may require professional treatment.
