How do I maintain a marble basin?

Marble basins are easy to maintain and can last a lifetime if properly cared for. To maintain the immaculate condition of your marble basin, simply use a gentle detergent or specialist cleaning solution with a non-abrasive cloth, and dry with a soft towel. What types of marble are featured through the Lusso collection?

At Lusso we use the finest marble from across the world including Carrara, Arabescato and Calacatta which are all quarried in Italy and feature classic grey veins on a base of soft white. Our collection also features Spanish Crema Marfil, Pietra Grey, and Panda marble with distinctive monochrome swirls. 

What styles of marble basins are available?

We offer marble countertop basins, which sit across the surface of a vanity unit or countertop, as well as wall hung marble basins that are designed to be mounted directly onto a wall without a pedestal or vanity unit. We also offer a range of freestanding marble basins - also known as pedestal basins - that completely conceal pipework. 

Do I need to order additional items to install a marble basin?

When purchasing a marble basin, we also recommend that you purchase a waste fitting and bottle trap for installation.

Are marble basins a durable option?

Although marble is a naturally porous material, if properly cared for it can last for generations. In addition, all of our marble basins and freestanding marble baths are fully sealed for added protection, and come with a lifetime guarantee.
